Mid-South Fare is the fifth release from Memphis singer-songwriter Ted Horrell with his band The Monday Night Card. Featuring twelve original songs covering a wide swath of genres – from heartland rock to soulful grooves to country-infused throwbacks to post-punk barnburners – Ted & The MNC play to their strengths while highlighting the versatility of the musicians driving the songs. Inspired by the local musical offerings and legacy of Memphis, TN, the city he calls home, the collection captures Horrell's often funny but deeply observational songwriting that tells insightful stories while capturing universal feelings.
